The Hatune Foundation cares for orphans and poor children
I was a stranger and you took me in.
The Hatune Foundation provides many sponsorships for children, families, students and widows. And the foundation cares for orphans. It takes this parental responsibility for the children very seriously. Orphans, children from poor and sick families and disabled children can survive, thanks to the help provided by donations to the foundation.
Childhood is the age, that needs most care and attention. In an early age, the soul gets hurt the most by isolation and suffering. Those children not only need food and medicine, but somebody, who takes care of them, so that they can develop into self-reliant honorable citizens.
The foundation’s goal is it to accommodate these children in families. Only there, will they be fostered individually and receive the love they deserve. If possible, the Hatune foundation builds an own house for the receiving families. This prevents children from being exploited, as many orphan houses use children as drudges. Many of the children have experienced physical and sexual abuses. Because of that, all our attention belongs to those children.
The costs for a child’ decent human life are 300$ a year. Should the family live in their own house, is it 500$ once only.
In Nepal, in the outskirts of Kathmandu, we run an orphanage, the Bona Fortuna School. 20 children from very poor origins live here. Some of them have become orphans after the severe earthquake in 2015. On the compound there is a new built school for 50 children. For this project, we are still looking for sponsors.
