Between fear and confidence
Christmas with oriental Christians.
Merry Christmas to everyone in the world
The Hatune Foundation has started a Christmas special for the orphans in the Middle East.
In November, we traveled throughout the Middle East such as Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Turkey. We distributed quilts ($20), bags of groceries ($50), complete winter clothing ($70) and various medical products.
All children should get to know and feel brotherly love, especially from Christmas. For example, children in America receive Christmas gifts from their families, relatives and friends. Children in the Middle East would be happy to simply receive something to eat, be provided a shelter and a warm blanket. As a result of that, Sister Hatune has promised the orphans in the Middle East to celebrate Christmas with the refugees there instead of in India where she has celebrated Christmas for years.
“I do not want to only talk about solidarity. I want to live out my solidarity with the refugees there. I will personally hand over donations to the orphans to show them that we not only pray for them but we also want to share and celebrate the love of Christmas with them. I thank you in advance for your support on behalf of the refugees.”
From December 23rd through 28th, we will travel to the specific communities of the needy children. We would like to bring presents with us and distribute them as a sign of solidarity while at the same time conveying love and joy!
Many thanks in advance for your prayers and financial support from myself as well as from the local children and their families.
At the same time, we wish you a blessed Advent, a peaceful Christmas and a healthy and Happy New Year 2015!
Please feel free to share this message on Facebook, Twitter, other social media and wherever else you meet your friends.
