Thousands of Christians chose to leave their home country Pakistan, because of persecution. They flee to Thailand, travelling on a tourist visa. But when the visa expires, they become illegal immigrants and are held in detention centers. Their future is bleak, unless a solution is found, and quickly. Hans Erling Jensen, our international director, met some Christian refugees from Pakistan and local representatives of the UNHCR in Bangkok.
